MIL-STD-1553B Avionics Products

We offer a wide range of intelligent MIL-STD-1553 interface hardware to meet the varying requirements of end users. Our 1553 data bus board solutions are integral elements of military, aerospace, and industrial applications. It features a dual-redundant, balanced-line, physical layer, a (differential) network interface, time division multiplexing, half-duplex command/response protocol, and up to 31 remote terminals (devices). MIL-STD-1553 is a military standard published by the United States Department of Defense that defines the mechanical, electrical, and functional characteristics of a serial data bus. Single function 1553 operates either as a Bus Controller, Remote Terminal, or Bus Monitor. MIL-STD-1553 IP core products offer Bus Controller (BC), Remote Terminal (RT) and Monitor (MT) solutions for any FPGA and ASIC device. The IP core incorporates a backend logic that arranges the messages in a pre-defined memory structure, simplifying the interface between the MIL-STD-1553 bus and the local CPU.
